Toby Baddeley is 21 years old from London. Saxophone is his first instrument and loves to play jazz and improvise. He has picked up the clarinet, guitar and bongos since starting GSA. Toby has played Bobby Strong in the musical Urinetown with YAT and has been in two shows with NYMT- The Dreaming and Captain Stirrick, prior to coming to GSA. He enjoys "DJing", integrating his loop station. He also loves doing voiceovers and cartoon character voices and impressions. Some of Toby’s roles at GSA include, Bongo Hurbet in Expresso Bongo, George in All My Sons and the one and only Witness Number 5 in Anne Frank.

Sasha’s previous roles in GSA productions include Miep Gies in The Diary of Anne Frank and Dominique du Monaco in the musical Lucky Stiff.


Classical credits while training include Miranda in The Tempest and Thomas Appletree in The Recruiting Officer. Sasha plays the violin, piano and guitar and is originally from Manchester, where she previously attended Chetham’s School of Music.

Sasha is looking forward to playing the role of Jasperino in this production The Changeling.

Heather has had a lifelong passion for all things creative. Prior to training at GSA, she participated in her local musical theatre society, Youth Music TheatreUK, and completed a 1-year ATCL Diploma in Acting and Musical Theatre in Poole, Dorset. Roles whilst training at GSA have included Sebastian in The Tempest, Lady Rosemary in Expresso Bongo, and Margot Frank in The Diary of Anne Frank.

Heather is an accomplished violinist (which she began aged 6) and has since picked up both acoustic and electric guitars. She enjoys writing original songs and is in the process of recording an EP.

Marta Miranda is a Spanish actor-musician, born in London, raised in the south of Spain but schooled in Gibraltar(British Overseas Territory).  Fluent in both English and Spanish, Marta went to a classical music conservatoire where she learnt how to play piano at the age of 7. She then learnt how to play the drums in secondary school and picked up the alto-saxophone 3 years ago. Her credits at GSA include Anne Frank in their 3rd year production of The Diary of Anne Frank, Mum in Expresso Bongo, Lucy in The Recruiting Officer, and Miranda and Stephano in The Tempest.

Kirsty is originally from The New Forest in the South of England, and since beginning training has lived in Guildford. She has previously trained with The National Youth Theatre of Great Britain, and while at GSA has taken on roles such as Captain Brazen in The Recruiting Officer, Kate in All My Sonsand Petronella Van Daan in The Diary of Anne Frank. Outside of GSA, Kirsty has been a part of the Southampton Youth Opera Company, taking on the title role of Orpheus in Montiverdi’s L’Orfeoat The Nuffield Theatre, as well as has been a part of the choir for The Clockmaker’s Daughter: Staged Concertat Cadogan Hall, directed by Mark Hedges.

From a theatrical family Harley first got into acting by being fortunate enough to sign with the agency Sainou at the age of 13. He got given lots of opportunity’s to Adverts, Television roles and was lucky to bag himself on the kids series “Horrible History’s" for the BBC.

Harley has always been around music and has always been inspired by it. He learnt to play the drums (age 9) then picked up the piano, guitar and bass as the years went on. He loves producing and songwriting.

While Harley has been studying on the Actor Musician course at GSA he has been involved with some amazing productions such as “The Diary of Anne Frank” where he played Peter Van Daan. He also took on the role of “Kite” from the restoration Comedy “The Recruiting Officer”.

Aoife is originanlly from Cork, Ireland. She began her training at the Guildford School of Acting in 2016 on the Musical Theatre Foundation Course. She then moved on to the Actor Musician Course at GSA in 2017. She has played the celtic harp and flute from a very young age and grew up playing traditional Irish music in Ceili bands. When not performing, you can find Aoife dunking chocolate into tea or enjoying a true crime podcast. Her credits while training include ‘Rita laPorta’ in Lucky Stiff, ‘Witness 1/Hannelli’ in Anne Frank, ‘Wife/Constable’ in The Recruiting Officer, ‘Maisie’ in Expresso Bongo and ‘Caliban’ in The Tempest. Her credits outside of training include ‘Star-To-Be/Ensemble’ in Annie at the Cork Opera House, ‘Sister Blanche’ in NYMT’s production of Pendragon and she was part of the ensemble in NYMT’S production of The Beautiful Game by Andrew Lloyd Webber.

Lee was born in Dublin in 1998. At 7 Lee started taking piano lessons before eventually joining Westside stage school in Lucan. Lee’s first experience with Theatre was playing piano in a production of The Last 5 Years at 14. After this he started performing with many amateur and professional opera and theatre companies. At 16 he join the music excellence programme at the Technological University Dublin (TUD) where he got classical training in singing, Theory and Piano. Over the next two years during his Leaving cert (A levels) Lee took part in many productions such as Carmen, Oliver, La Boheme, Fame and played Mark in Rent in Belfast. In 2017 Lee moved to Guildford started studying actor musicianship at GSA where he learned Guitar and Viola. His biggest roles at GSA have been Mr Van Dann in Anne Frank and Worthy in The Recruiting Officer. Lee has been influenced by Musicians such as Billy Joel, Jacob Collier, Stevie Wonder and Bands such as Genesis, U2 and the Foo fighters. Lee likes to Produce, Compose and Arrange Music in his spare time.

Emily is originally from Derbyshire and began training at the Guildford School of Acting in 2017. Alongside acting, Emily also has a strong training in singing and dancing. She began playing the alto and soprano saxophone at a young age and picked up the flute whilst in training. Prior to GSA Emily performed in a number of shows with Youth Music Theatre UK and during her time at GSA took on the role of Elle Woods with Kristian Thomas Company in Nottingham. Emily has been lucky enough to play a variety of roles whilst at GSA including Stephano/Trinculo in The Tempest, Sylvia Balance in The Recruiting Officer and Annabel Glick in Lucky Stiff. Emily is excited to be taking on the roles of Pedro and Servant in this production of The Changeling.

Eronwy spent her childhood in Somerset. She started acting, singing and dancing from a young age. She trained with local groups, studying ballet, jazz and musical theatre for most of her childhood. She has played the flute since she was 7 years old and has loved coming to GSA and learning the clarinet and saxophone as well! During her time at GSA, she has explored many different roles, including ‘Melinda’ in The Recruiting Officer, ‘Dixie Collins’ in Expresso Bongo and ‘Kraler’ in the Diary of Anne Frank. She is incredibly excited to be playing the role of DeFlores in this production of The Changeling.

Becky Stagg grew up in Salisbury, Wiltshire. Since the age of 13 she went to an all-girls boarding school in Sherborne. Becky’s passion, since a young age, has been Jazz so she decided to pursue that in her instrument choices! She has played the Clarinet, Tenor Saxophone and piano since the age of 11 getting to a Diploma level but since GSA she has also picked up the baritone saxophone, Soprano Saxophone and the Electric Harp. Becky started acting at a young age joining Stagecoach where she performed with ‘Joseph and His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’ seven times in The Mayflower/Bournemouth Pavilion and many more. Hazel Simmons (Isabella)

Hazel is originally from the north coast of Cornwall. At age 17, she left home to complete a 2-year foundation course in musical theatre at Stageworks Studios, going on to study Actor Musicianship at the Guildford School of Acting in 2017. She began playing the piano at the age of ten, and started learning the cello during secondary school. During her training at GSA she has focused mainly on her cello skills, as well as picking up the guitar. Alongside acting, Hazel is extremely interested in songwriting, and is currently working on releasing an EP of original folk music, some of which is inspired by the Cornish legends she heard growing up. She can’t wait to take on the role of Isabella and is excited to be part of what is sure to be a very special version of The Changeling.

Eleanor grew up in a small town off of the coast of Loch Lomond in Scotland. Born into a musical family she started playing the violin aged 4 and gradually picked up more instruments along the way. She began acting and singing at a young age beginning classes at the National Theatre of Scotland and the Citizens Theatre in Glasgow. At the Guildford School of Acting Eleanor has played roles such as ‘The Justice Balance’ in ‘The Recruiting Officer’ and ‘Edith Frank’ in ‘The Diary of Anne Frank’.

Jack is from Gloucestershire and began studying Actor Musicianship at GSA in 2017. He began playing clarinet at aged 7, saxophone at aged 14 and has since picked up the oboe and the flute whilst studying at GSA. Jack also took part in three productions with the National Youth Music Theatre: two productions as part of the cast and one production as part of the pit orchestra. He is looking forward to tackling the role of Alonzo in this production of The Changeling.

Edward is a South Western Actor Muso currently based in Guildford to be able to study at the Guilford School of Acting. During his time in training Ed has undertook roles such as Joe Keller in ‘All My Sons’, Johnny ‘Expresso Bongo’ and Otto Frank in ‘The Diary of Anne Frank’. Whilst in training Edward has gained his first professional credit, performing at the Vaults Festival in ‘Aamira and Gad, Hope and Conflict’ where he was an Actor and Composer for the show. Ed plays Violin, accordion and bass guitar and is extremely excited to be taking on the role of Antonio in the Jacobean Tragedy ‘The Changeling’.

Musical Supervision & Direction

Paul won the Cameron Mackintosh Resident Composer Award for which he was based at the Watermill Theatre. As a part of the residency he wrote the music for Sense and Sensibility directed by Jessica Swale, A Bunch of Amateurs directed by Caroline Leslie and Hamlet directed by Justin Audibert. As a composer, he has written the music for several musicals including his latest, Lia’s Guide to Winning the Lottery which is in development with Perfect Pitch and has completed a full production at UCLAN.
